The job in one line

Wet belt, timing belt and timing chain replacements. One car a day, done to manufacturer procedure, signed off properly.

What you'll be doing

  • Wet belt replacements on Ford 1.0 EcoBoost, 1.5 and 2.0 EcoBlue, PSA 1.2 PureTech and 1.5 BlueHDi, Transit and Transit Custom.
  • Timing belts and chains across all makes, with the correct locking tools.
  • The full job: sump off, oil pickup and strainer cleaned, oil pump belt, fresh oil and filter, road test, sign off.
  • Diagnosis of low oil pressure, belt debris and rattle complaints before we quote.

You must have

  • Hands-on wet belt experience. You have done them before, more than once, and can talk us through the job.
  • Timing work you trust yourself on. Locking tools, marks, tension, torque sequence, without a second guess.
  • Own hand tools and a full UK driving licence for road tests.
  • Pride in the finish. Clean work, no leaks, no comebacks.

Nice to have

  • Level 3 or equivalent in light vehicle maintenance.
  • Diagnostic experience with Ford and PSA platforms.
  • Happy to appear in the odd workshop video or photo for our social pages.
