Terms of Service

These terms cover quotes requested through wiganwetbelts.co.uk and work carried out by Wigan Wetbelts of Unit 2E, Cricket Street, Wigan, WN6 7TP. By requesting a quote or booking work with us you agree to them. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Online quotes are estimates

• Prices shown by the instant quote tool are estimates based on the vehicle and work you select, shown excluding VAT with the VAT inclusive total alongside.
• Final pricing is confirmed after we inspect the vehicle. Condition, seized components, engine variant differences or additional parts can change the price. We will always tell you before doing extra chargeable work.
• A quote is not a booking. Work is booked once we confirm a date with you.

2. Vehicle identification

Quotes rely on the vehicle details provided or looked up from your registration. If the actual vehicle or engine differs from those details, the quote may change. Please check the details shown before submitting.

3. Bookings and cancellations

• Preferred dates requested online are requests, not confirmations. We will contact you to agree the date.
• If you need to cancel or move a booking, please give us as much notice as you can, at least 48 hours where possible.
• Where a deposit has been taken, it is refundable if you cancel with reasonable notice before parts are ordered. Once parts specific to your vehicle are ordered, we may deduct costs we cannot recover.

4. Parts and workmanship

• We fit genuine or OEM quality parts and follow manufacturer timing procedures.
• Our work is covered by a 12 month parts and labour warranty from collection, covering defects in the parts we supplied and the work we carried out. It does not cover unrelated faults, pre existing damage, wear items, or damage caused after collection.
• Any pre existing issues we find during the job will be reported to you before we proceed.

5. Your vehicle while with us

Vehicles left with us are kept securely and moved only as needed to carry out the work. Please remove valuables from the vehicle. We accept liability for damage caused by our negligence, but not for items left in the vehicle.

6. Payment

Payment is due on completion, before or at collection, unless agreed otherwise in writing. We may exercise a lien over the vehicle until payment is made, as permitted by law.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability for any claim connected to a job is limited to the price paid for that job.
