Is my engine a wet belt?

Put your reg into the wet belt checker or the quote tool. It tells you whether your engine runs a wet belt, a dry belt or a chain, and only says definitive when it is certain from the engine code.

How long does a Transit wet belt take?

One working day for most front wheel drive Transits. Drop off at 08:00, collect the same day. Bigger jobs run two working days and the quote tool tells you before you book.

Why take the sump off?

The belts shed into the oil and the debris collects in the oil pickup strainer. If that is not cleaned the engine can starve of oil after the new belt goes on. We do it on every wet belt job.

Is the price really fixed?

Yes. The price on screen is the price you pay unless we find something unrelated, and we ring you before touching anything extra.

Can I book without calling?

Yes. Pick a date from the live calendar, confirm your quote and we hold the slot. We ring only if something on the booking needs checking.

What is covered by the warranty?

12 months on the parts we fit, from the day you collect. It does not cover unrelated faults or damage after collection.
